Chairtime is an online booking and appointment-reminder tool for salons and personal-care businesses ("Salons"). Salons use Chairtime to publish a booking page, collect deposits for appointments, and send confirmation/reminder messages to their clients ("Customers"). Chairtime is currently offered as a free beta — features, availability, and pricing may change before a general release.
If you create a Salon account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the services, pricing, staff, and availability you publish. You're responsible for obtaining your Customers' consent to be contacted (see Section 4) before you collect their contact information through your booking page.
Deposit payments made by Customers through a Salon's booking page are processed by Stripe. During this beta, deposits are collected into Chairtime's own Stripe account on the Salon's behalf, not paid out automatically — Salons are paid out manually by Chairtime while in beta. Chairtime is not a bank or payment processor; Stripe's own terms govern the handling of card data. Refund and cancellation policies for a specific appointment are set by the Salon, not Chairtime.
By providing a phone number on a Salon's booking page, a Customer consents to receive transactional text messages related to that specific appointment (confirmations and reminders) from that Salon via Chairtime. Message and data rates may apply. A Customer can reply STOP at any time to opt out of future SMS from Chairtime, or START to opt back in; replying HELP returns support contact information. Email confirmations and reminders are sent to the email address provided at booking.
You may not use Chairtime to publish a booking page for a business you don't own or operate, to collect Customer information for purposes unrelated to the booked appointment, to send communications to people who haven't booked with you, or to attempt to circumvent rate limits, bot protection, or the multi-tenant data boundaries between Salons.
Chairtime is provided "as is" during this beta period, without warranty of any kind. We'll do our best to keep bookings, deposits, and reminders working reliably, but as a beta product, occasional issues are possible. Please report anything that looks wrong immediately so we can fix it.
